One or Two

Continuing on with this February Album Writing Month theme…

There was a challenge posted to write a song using basically one chord for a minimum of one minute in the song.
I played a lot of “G” but other than that, I’m not sure what all happened in there
So here it is, how it is, and whatever I’m playing.

Without You – Original Song

By yours truly.
I wrote this almost ten years ago, but I used to play it at shows and people seemed to like it and be able to relate to it.
It’s been one of my favorites to sing & play (back in the day when I actually did solo shows 🙂  )
Now it’s on the inter-web!
Hope you like!

Dream a Little Dream

A little song for Mother’s Day
That really doesn’t have anything to do with Mother’s Day
Except for the fact that I’m a mom
(still feels a bit weird saying that)
And I felt like playing this one so I did.
And Mother’s Day is all about doing whatever you want
Because it’s the hardest volunteer job in the world there will ever be.
So don’t forget to call your mom,
Or the person who takes the motherly role in your life
And tell ’em you couldn’t live without’ em!

L

A song and haircut.

Today I:

Cut my hair
Recorded a song
And some other stuff.
THERE!

LYRICS:

If you should chance
To think of me
I hope you’d like you’d like you’d like
What you would see

It seems that when
You pass my way
I lose the words the words the words
I want to say

***

So let’s meet up
Just in our minds
And make believe believe believe
That we’re both fine

‘Cos I need you
You need me too
I’ll be patient and wait and wait and wait
And wait for you

***

When you get back
We’ll make our plans
And take the world the world the world
In the palms of our hands

Yeah.
