One or Two

Continuing on with this February Album Writing Month theme…

There was a challenge posted to write a song using basically one chord for a minimum of one minute in the song.
I played a lot of “G” but other than that, I’m not sure what all happened in there
So here it is, how it is, and whatever I’m playing.

Honey, Please

I am participating in something called “February Album Writing Month” which I discovered through my brother.

It’s basically where anyone who needs a little kick in the pants and some motivation to get some music writing done can go and attempt to write at least 14 songs in the month of February. Check it out if you’re curious to know more at http://www.fawm.org

I have 2 completed songs and a few incomplete songs… and many more to go,

But here is this for now!
Thanks for listening!

Dream a Little Dream

A little song for Mother’s Day
That really doesn’t have anything to do with Mother’s Day
Except for the fact that I’m a mom
(still feels a bit weird saying that)
And I felt like playing this one so I did.
And Mother’s Day is all about doing whatever you want
Because it’s the hardest volunteer job in the world there will ever be.
So don’t forget to call your mom,
Or the person who takes the motherly role in your life
And tell ’em you couldn’t live without’ em!

L

x&y

Swallowed in the Sea, by Coldplay.
Every time I listen to this song
I feel.

I wonder if everyone has at least one song that makes them feel something indescribable.
None of the words I try to use to describe the way this song makes me feel seem to do it justice.

So find your song, and you’ll know what I mean.
Also, good job, Coldplay.
