This morning
Was a long time ago.
I got up and made a coffee
And sat in front of the fire for a minute
Whilst listening to my son
Tell me all about his ideas
For some kind of experiment.
I don’t remember what type
Of experiment it was.
Like I said,
This morning was a long time ago.
I microwaved that coffee
About 3 times
And then drove the kids to school
And sipped on it here and there
During my drive.
I left the half-filled cup
In my car
In the cupholder
While I was at work.
Once I got back to my car,
I realized that
It actually makes you car smell good
To leave a black coffee in it.
Just hold the cream
Or you will surely regret it
On a beautiful
Warm
Sunny
