I am NOT on the non-plan plan…

I get all dorkily excited about new things.
New Years are no exception.
And I’ve not been to New York yet, so I’m not sure,
But I’d probably get excited about that too, even though it’s kind of a pun.
The point is,
I like having a fresh start for the new year.
I like having goals.
I never really stick to my goals,
BUT
I always think,
“This could be it!
This could be the year I follow through!”
So I’m working on the things for which I’ll set myself up for disappointment (OR NOT!)
Only THIS year, I’m going to put it up here for all to see.
Yep, I’m baring my resolutions to the world.
That way, it will be much more embarrassing if I neglect it.

So January 1st, 2013,
I will post my list and start working on being a better version of myself.

What are your ‘resolutions’ or goals or what have you?
Let’s get some feedback here.
I need inspiration.

You talk about getting excited for the new year like it’s a bad thing. Well, DORKS OF THE WORLD UNITE, I say because I am right there with you.

I have looked at my five year goals and looked into seeing what I can do this year to push those goals as far as I can. (Notice I use ‘goals’ and not ‘resolutions’…what I have decided to do will get me to my end goals and these are things I WILL do, not RESOLVE to do.) My goals include continuing to run and lose weight as I have this year, find a good church family, work on my writing career and volunteering at a local women’s shelter. Oh and pay off my car so that I can be debt free and start saving for a house. 2013 is going to be AH-mazing! ❤ ❤ ❤

YES! Next year is going to the the BEST year yet.
I went to your blog and see that you are a runner!
Your posts are very inspiring. Running is something I used to be good at as a kid, and now I can’t even run a whole lap without jog/walking in-between. It’s sad. This is ALWAYS one of my *ahem* …”goals” that I end up neglecting.
Thanks for commenting and I will be following your blog now so the pressure is on. 😉

Mine are mostly organizational. I have a lot of little house projects that desperately need to be tackled. I’ve had a serious lack of motivation lately, so I am using the impending New Year to hopefully kick me in gear. And exercise more, that gets thrown on there every year!

      Organization! Totes McGoats.
I feel like when everything is where it should be, I am much more productive.
I kind of keep telling myself “Oh, if and when we move, I’ll get everything in order…”
But in reality, I just need to do it now and save myself the headache later!
      TO TWENTY-THIRTEEN!
      WE CAN DO THIS!
